Role play game # 9- revolution for the light bulb
This is a card game workshop in which participants will work in groups presenting different opinions of stakeholders' with regard to nanotechnology dilemmas (ELSA). The objective of the game is to discuss and debate the ways in which nanotechnology might affect their lives; discuss and debate the potential of nanotechnology (from stakeholders' opinion) beyond its current applications; present opinion/arguments (based on knowledge) on nanotechnology dilemmas and whether it would be to the benefit for humankind. The topic of this card game is "revolution for the light bulb"

The NANOYOU project aimed to increase young people’s basic understanding on nanotechnologies (NT) and to engage in the dialogue about its ethical, legal and social aspects (ELSA) through a strong school program for students aged 11-18 and a wide range of activities in Science Centres for those aged 18-25

About nanopinion
- NanOpinion ist ein EU-finanziertes Projekt, das 17 Partner aus 11 Ländern mit dem Ziel zusammenbringt, die öffentliche Meinung zu dem zu analysieren, was sich die Bevölkerung von Innovation mit Nanotechnologien erhofft. Das Projekt richtet sich an BürgerInnen mit besonderem Fokus auf schwer zu erreichende Zielgruppen, d. h. Personen, die man gewöhnlich nicht dort findet, wo Meinungen zu Nanotechnologien aus erster Hand abgegeben werden.
- Der Dialog wird online und mithilfe spezieller Umfrage-Aktivitäten in 30 Ländern unter Verwendung unterschiedlicher Teilnahmeformate gefördert.
- Um eine fundierte Diskussionzu fördern veranstalten wir außerdem eine weitreichende Presse- und Soziale Medien-Kampagne und bieten ein Respositorium mit über 150 Quellen an.
